History: Not much has been revealed regarding the history and origin of Tim Carney. His brother had become the 50’s superhero known as the Yankee Clipper, and Carney was determined to follow in his footsteps. He created the costumed identity of Kid Justice, and often joined his brother on various missions. When the Yankee Clipper formed the hero team known as the First Line, Carney was anxious to join but was denied because of his young age. Nevertheless, Carney continued to associate with the First Line and was later granted full membership.

When Carney’s brother was believed to be killed in the line of duty, Carney rededicated his life to the First Line, calling himself Mister Justice. Over the years, Carney performed many missions, both individually and as a member of the First Line.

Carney was among those heroes assembled by the First Line to defend Earth against an invasion by the alien Skrulls. Somehow, Carney managed to escape the devastation that destroyed the Skrull fleet and decimated his team. He resumed his heroic career, operating solo.

In more recent times, Carney discovered his brother had not been killed, merely shunted into the future. The Yankee Clipper reunited with his brother, although he chose to remain anonymous to the world at large. Presumably, Carney continues to adventure as Mister Justice.
