Ambush Bug initially clashed with the Man of Steel and his buddies the Legion of Substitute Heroes, but that was pre-Crisis so that story never happened. Mr. A. Bug’s only response has been “Legion of Who-dads? Nah. They never existed. Nowadways that story took place in a Prestige Format oneshot entitled Superman / Sugar & Spike : The Ambush Bug Agenda and featured an Alex Ross cover. It was cool, guys. It had an Alex Ross cover. Really.”
